Christmas redesigned for all

The Team brand and communications agency Christmas redesigned for all inclusive design

Ho, ho, ho. Merry Christmas everybody!

I cannot believe it’s nearly Christmas Day again. Where does the time go?

While I’ve been getting ready for the big day, my elves over at the Team have been working their magic by redesigning Christmas with inclusivity in mind. I particularly like the look of my ‘new garb’. But I’m not sure what Rudolph will say about his new coat!

Inclusive design is the design of mainstream products and services that are accessible to – and usable by – as many people as possible, according to the British Standards Institution (BSI). This ranges from automatic doors, audio descriptions and Braille to designing with colours that provide a high contrast between text and background.

Take a look at their Inclusive Christmas Design Guidelines as a quick guide to designing a Christmas for all. And because design is for life, not just the festive season, you can see more of their work on inclusive design through the rebrand of Scope, which has inclusive design at its heart.

Merry Christmas to you all,

Santa

P.S. Who hides in the bakery at Christmas?

… Mince spies! ‘Ho ho ho’!
