The Team annual Christmas card is always an interesting challenge: How do we create something unique and festive, something which will engage our team, contacts and clients alike, plus raise money for our chosen charity?
This year we invited Teamsters to get creative: to individually design a Christmas card which would be printed, signed and sent. The only brief was it obviously needed to be Christmassy and showcase their talent. This could be in any artistic medium.
The Team have chosen to support Stroke Association. The Association is the largest UK organisation working to combat stroke. There are close to 152,000 strokes a year in the UK – more than one every five minutes, and 1 in 5 is fatal. The Team had previously worked with the Association on a DBA award-winning brand refresh in 2012, so their important work was well known to us.
Stroke Association help support stroke survivors with art therapy, so there was a natural connection between our individually designed cards and the charity.
From the bespoke designed cards, a range have been chosen for printing, with the message that, along with the physical cards, each day an image would be posted on our Instagram account using the hashtag #weartxmas For every ‘like’ we receive for the images we will donate £1 to Stroke Association.
Wanting to utilise the images further, The Team have also created an advent calendar in the studio reception, unveiling a new card design every day.
