Cliff Ettridge

Since joining The Team in 2002, Cliff has led our employee engagement offer, delivering projects for clients such as HSBC, English Heritage, Three and the BBC, as well as helping the BP release their new values and behaviours to the global organisation.

Today he leads a team delivering work for BP, IBM, Citizens Advice and Arcadis. Together with a wider employee engagement team he designs employer brands, creates internal communication plans and develops campaigns to bring business strategy and messages to life.

Prior to joining The Team Cliff headed internal communications at The Body Shop International, was creative director at Banner McBride, then the sole employee engagement consultancy within WPP.

With over 25 years’ experience in developing employee engagement strategies, Cliff’s expertise lies in developing ideas that can bring basic business concepts to life and attract and retain talent. The mix of client experience, from NatWest Group and BP through to Southwest Airlines, means that Cliff has developed excellent insights into how a wide range of people inside businesses think and feel. In the past year, Cliff and his team have embarked on employee engagement projects that have reached nearly one million people in work.
